The last date for applications for admission into Diploma and PG Diploma courses in Port industry offered by Visakha Institute of Port Management has been extended.
The last date for submission of application for admissions in the Seventh batch of vocational training programmes offered by VIPM has been extended till May 1, according to a release issued here.
VIPM is the only institute in the country offering PG Diploma and Diploma courses in the Port industry.
The courses gained the prominence with port sector growing rapidly under the Public-Private Partnership mode. The VIPM offers PG Diploma Course in Port Equipment maintenance, for which eligibility is first class Mechanical / Electronics- Electrical Engineering degree.
The classes will commence from first week of May.
