Vegetarian fare from Italy

Continental cuisine for a hard core vegetarian so far has only been a dream. Not any longer. From Tuesday, you will be able to enjoy vegetarian fare from Italy.

Little Italy at Waltair Uplands serves exclusive vegetarian Italian food. Sun-dried tomatoes, parmesan cheese, broccoli, oregano, olive oil, multi-coloured bell peppers, parsley and olives take innovative forms. Diners can customise their pastas with different sauces.

“While ‘Arrabiata’ sauce is made of tomatoes, ‘formaggio’ is made of melted cheese. When you mix these two sauces, the colour turns into pink, making the preparation attractive,” said Sneha Pere Saraogi, managing director of Little Italy.
