Vangapandu to continue ‘Dhabel-Dhubel'

Uttarandhra Dhabel-Dhubel' has claimed that it has been able to create awareness to some extent among people on the injustice meted out to the backward region through its 56 performances in the three north-coastal Andhra districts since it was launched on June 1 this year, claims Vangapandu Prasada Rao, president of the organisation.

Mr. Vangapandu, wearing anklets having little bells, sang ballads and danced to the beating of drums at the Collector's Office on Tuesday highlighting the reasons for backwardness of Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts.

He said that he would continue to give performances in these three districts.
