The Utkal Sanskrutika Samaj celebrated the 80{+t}{+h}Utkal Divas, the Odisha State Formation Day, here on Wednesday. Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise Anil G. Sakkarwar inaugurated the programme.

President of the Samaj S.C. Choudhury, vice-president R.P. Sahu and T.K. Chand spoke. Central Sahitya Academy award winner Punya Prabha Devi and others were present.
An Odia food festival was organised and the Mahendra Kala Academy led by Sushri Usha Pattnaik presented a cultural programme.
