Two students were feared drowned when they went for a swim at the Rama Krishna Beach here on Tuesday afternoon.
Shami and another boy, both 8{+t}{+h}class students, from Kancharapalem area, went for a swim in the sea along with some friends. They were playing in the water when two boys were pulled into the deep by a strong current.
On receiving information, a Marine Police vessel was deployed to search for the missing boys but the search proved futile and the bodies could not be traced till late in the evening.
Two Town Police (Maharanipeta Zone) Police were investigating the case.
