Two killed in accidents

Two persons, including a lab technician from GITAM, died in separate road accidents in the city on Friday.

In one incident, B Lalith Sai Krishna (22), lab technician in GITAM Deemed to be University, was going on a motorcycle when was run over by a lorry at Paradesipalem bus stop,He died on the spot. PM Palem police reached the spot and took lorry driver under custody for further investigation. The body was sent to KGH for post-mortem.

In another incident near Tagarapuvalasa, a lorry from Eluru which was transporting fish to Kolkata hit a pedestrian who was crossing the road near Surya Nursing Home area. Police have identified the deceased as R Chinnayya (40), who was working as helper at a local chicken shop and was a resident of Tagarapuvalasa.

Body was sent to KGH for post-mortem and the investigation is on. Bheemunipatnam Police have registered a case after the family members of the deceased lodged a complaint
