February 22, 2012 03:06 pm | Updated November 17, 2021 12:17 am IST - VISAKHAPATNAM:

A round table organised jointly by city trade unions, has given a call to make the proposed strike on February 28 a complete success. Participating in the meeting, which was chaired by INTUC State general secretary K.S. Mohan Kumar, the trade union leaders said despite organising a strike in 2010 and ‘jail bharo' programme last year, the Centre was going ahead with its anti-worker policies. The round table resolved that extensive meetings, conferences, gate meetings, rallies should be organised on a large scale to involve the entire working class in the strike.
