Tributes paid to Mother Teresa

The youth must take Mother Teresa as their idol and imbibe the quality of social service, Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University B. Satyanarayana said while participating in a function organised to mark the birth centenary celebrations of Mother Teresa on Thursday.

Braving rain, a good number of girl students of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan gathered at Mother Teresa's statute in front of the Collectorate and were first to garland the same.

Former Union Secretary and convener of Forum for Better Visakha E.A.S. Sarma joined the schoolchildren in paying tribute to Mother Teresa.

GITAM University organised a mega blood donation camp at its Dental College.
