Participants from 35 startups were explained the nitty-gritty of how to scale the ladder of success here on Thursday.

Experts from various domains gave presentations on teething problems and solutions to overcome them. The workshop was conducted at the Sunrise Incubation Hub, Rushikonda, by The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Amaravati in association with AP Innovation Society (APIS).

Presentations were made on idea validation, go-to-market strategy, business plan, fund raising and team building.

The workshop was followed by mentoring sessions. The startups will get an opportunity to pitch for funding to the Angels Network.

APIS CEO Valli Kumari said they had already established four incubation centres in the State to develop entrepreneurship ecosystem. “We want to make AP a global startup economy and being associated with TiE will help us achieve the goal,” she said.

IT Association of AP president and TIE Amaravati board member Ravi Eswarapu said “The most awaited need for Vizag based startups in areas of mentoring, networking and funding on one common platform will now be met with the presence of TiE Amaravati chapter.”

He said Vizag startups would get exposure to the ecosystem across the world through TiE platform to achieve success.

Endiya Partners director Abhishek Srivastava was the facilitator of the event.
