Three city students get global rank in Olympiad

42,800 schools from 25 countries participate in exam

Three students from the city came out with flying colours by garnering international rank in the Science Olympiad Foundation.

In International English Olympiad, the international rank 2 was bagged by Kshitij Razdan of class 12 who was awarded with a silver medal and ₹ 25,000 cash prize. In International Mathematical Olympiad, CKVR Hemant Kumar of class 11 from Sri Chaitanya Junior College bagged the international rank 3 along with a bronze medal and ₹ 10,000 cash prize. Satish Kumar of class 10, Navy Children School, secured the international rank 3 in the International Sports Knowledge Olympiad and bagged a bronze medal and cash award of ₹ 10,000.

The three winners were awarded at a felicitation function held in New Delhi.
