The third edition of The Hindu Metroplus Cookery Contest 2017 will be held at Hotel Varun Novotel on the Beach Road from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on August 27.
The earlier editions of The Hindu Metroplus Cookery Contest received an overwhelming response from amateur cooks in the city who came up with their finest dishes and innovative ideas in terms of presentation.
The Cookery Contest, indeed, brought to the fore the tremendous talent and interest women have, not just in conjuring up delicious delights in the kitchen but also sharing their culinary secrets.
For this year’s contest, each participant should submit only one dish in vegetarian / non-vegetarian / dessert categories. Participants must cook the dish at home and present it at the venue. The judging will be based on colour, texture, consistency, presentation, innovation and taste/aroma.
There will be three prizes and three consolations in each category. Interested participants can register through email at vantalapoti@gmail.com or contact 0891-2536159 / 98494 98771. Only registered participants will be allowed into the hall.
