Tension prevailed in a bank at Kapparada when bank officials suspected that four persons had come to the bank to conduct an alleged recce, here on Wednesday.
On Wednesday morning, the bank officials found four persons, who paired up to sit in two different corners of the bank.
According to ACP (North) L. Arjun, the four were just sitting and reportedly observing the functioning of the bank.
This aroused suspicion and the bank officials asked them to leave and informed the police.
“The entire episode was captured in CC TV camera and we are investigating it and have also alerted our teams. As of now we are not ruling out the motive of bank robbery,” said Mr. Arjun.
