‘Swararchana’on Jan. 1, 2

The annual ‘Srivariki Swararchana’ programme, being organised by SVS Seva Samithi, will be held at STBL Ground near Ayyappa Swamy temple at Sheela Nagar on January 1 and 2.

Special pujas on the lines of those being performed to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala will be conducted in the mornings and musical programmes be held during the evenings.

The programmes on January 1 (Vaikunta Ekadasi) will begin with ‘Abhishekam’ at 4 a.m. followed by a procession at 5 a.m. There will be a ‘special darsan’ and ‘sarva darsan’ for devotees. The ‘Swararchana’ programme will be conducted by music directors Koti, Vandemaataram Srinivas, Radhakrishnan and others from 6 p.m.

The programmes on January 2 (Vaikunta Dwadasi) will begin with Suprabhata Seva at 5 a.m. followed by special and ‘sarva darsan’ and various sevas. There will be ‘Sahasra Deepalankarana Seva’ at 5 p.m. ‘Srivari Kalyanotsavam will be performed by TTD priests at 6.30 p.m.
