Railways will run premium super-fast trains between Howrah and Chennai. Train no. 02841 Howrah-Chennai Premium super-fast express will leave Howrah on Fridays from April 25 to June 27 (10 trips) at 1.15 p.m. and arrive at Duvvada Railway Station at 2.48 a.m. (early hours of Saturday) and leave 2.50 a.m. and reaches Chennai at 2.25 p.m. on Saturdays.

In return direction the train No. 02842 Chennai-Howrah premium super-fast express will leave Chennai on Saturdays from April 26 to June 28 (10trips) at 5 p.m. and arrive at Duvvada on the next day (Sunday) at 5 a.m. and leave at 5.02 a.m. to reach Howrah on the same day at 6.30 p.m. The train will also stop at Kharagpur, Bhubaneswar, Duvvada and Vijayawada between Howrah and Chennai.

It will have three Second class AC coaches and eight third AC coaches, according to a statement issued by Tibikram Mishra, Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division.

Super-fast express trains will also be operated between Visakhapatnam and Renigunta to clear the extra rush during summer season.

Train no. 07229 Visakhapatnam-Renigunta Super-fast express will leave Visakhapatnam on April 18 (Friday) at 4.25 p.m. and reach Renigunta on the next day at 5.10 a.m.

In the return direction, train no. 07230 Renigunta-Visakhapatnam Super-fast express will leave Renigunta on April 19 (Saturday) at 5 p.m. and reach Visakhapatnam on the next day at 5.20 a.m.

These pair of trains halt at Duvvada, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Nellore and Gudur and have composition of one second class AC, three third AC coaches, eight sleeper class coaches and two second class sitting-cum-luggage vans.
