Summer campconcludes

The month-long summer camp – 2017, organised by the East Coast Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (ECoRWWO), Waltair, concluded here on Sunday.

A total of 89 students enrolled themselves in various courses like keyboard, art & craft, chess, dance and self-defence at the camp held at Rail Club from May 1. Competitions were organised for the children and prizes and participation certificates were given to all the children.

Divisional Railway Manager Mukul Saran Mathur, who participated as chief guest in the valedictory, was all praise for the performances of the children. He advised parents to engage children in productive activities and hone their innate talent. He suggested to ECoRWWO to take up such activities during the winter holidays also.

Additional DRM Ajay Arora participated in the programme as guest of honour.

President of ECoRWWO Sanjeela Mathur, vice-president Sharmila Arora and secretary Madhuri Kasipathi were among those who were present.
