Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama will be organising summer camp from Monday, at the ashram premises, for children between 9 and 16 years.
Secretary of RK Mission - Visakhapatnam Swami Atmavidananda said that the summer camp was being organised to impart various life skills to the young minds.
The camp will include activities such as social-cultural-physical development, exposure of Indian culture, chanting and meditation, patriotic songs and bhajans, yoga, art and craft, general knowledge and value education. The camp will be organised from 8.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
Spoken English classes
This apart, the Mission will also be organising spoken English and communication skill course for UG and PG students and job aspirants, from Monday. The classes will be held from 6.30 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. on the ashram premises. Registrar of Andhra University Uma Maheswara Rao, on Sunday released a dubbed version of a 1961 Bengali feature film on Sister Nivedita.
The film was dubbed in Telugu by the monks of the ashram and will be screened on May 8, at RK Mission.
