Students’ help sought for webcasting process

Students who have no political affiliation and in possession of laptops can contact the District Revenue Officer M. Venkateswara Rao by producing their ID proof, to help the district administration webcast polling process during the May 7 general elections in the district, according to Joint Collector Pravin Kumar.

The Joint Collector has also instructed the district officials to give a list of staff having computer knowledge to do webcasting from the polling booths in the sensitive and hyper-sensitive polling centres.

Nearly 1,750 persons with laptops are required for webcasting and so far 1,024 staff members and students have been identified.
