Students damage hostel furniture

A group of students of a corporate college allegedly clashed with the staff at the hostel and damaged the furniture on Monday night.

They reportedly also beat up the warden and a few others in the campus.

However, the police didn’t receive any complaint in this regard and the management of the academy are tight-lipped about the incident.

Sources said that some students entered into an argument with the warden over an issue and later attacked him and a few other staff and damaged the furniture.

A senior police officer said the students were counselled by the police on Tuesday.
