Students clean zoo

The NSS unit of Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences (ANITS) conducted a cleaning programme in Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, inspired by the ‘Swachh Bharat’ programme initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. ANITS Principal V. S. R. K. Prasad, heads of departments and over 50 students participated in the programme.

Assistant professor – Physics and NSS coordinator B. Brahmaji led the team to clean the zoo that had been affected by cyclone Hudhud. V. Thapovardhan, secretary of ANITS, promised his support to the zoo authorities for further maintenance of the zoo.
