Strive hard to implement e-office, officials told

Chairman of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) J. Satyanarayana on Saturday reviewed the progress of implementing e-office in the district and directed the officials to strive for 100% implementation.

Krishna and West Godavari were doing well with 80% success rate. Other districts must emulate them. Implementation in Visakhapatnam was not that satisfactory, he said.

Joint Collector G. Srijana said they were doing well in the Collectorate but due to technical problems in uploading documents, it was not being implemented fully at the divisional and mandal level. Mr. Satyanarayana promised to take steps to overcome teething problems.

Among others, District Revenue Officer Chandrasekhar Reddy, section heads, officials of the National Informatics Centre and others attended.
