Valedictory function of the inter-departmental and inter-Sector sports and games meet of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant was held at the Col. C.K. Nayudu Ukku Stadium here on Tuesday evening.
VSP Director (personnel) G.B.S. Prasad gave away prizes. Assistant General Manager (sports) M.S. Kumar informed that apart from the competitions held for employees in athletics, ball badminton, badminton, cricket, chess, kabaddi and volleyball, an inter-sector athletics games meet was held for homemakers in which 100 women participated.
Trade union leaders and officials of the Sports Department also participated in the valedictory function.
