The pass percentage of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) advanced supplementary examination-2017 increased to 71.37 compared to 60.16 last year.

Of the 46,605 candidates appeared for the supplementary examinations held in June, 33,261 students passed, registering a pass percentage of 71.37.

Declaring the results at Andhra University Platinum Jubilee Guest House on Thursday, HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that Nellore district stood first by securing a pass percentage of 94.38 and Krishna district registered the lowest of 60.17.

The examinations were conducted for the candidates who failed to clear the main examinations held in March. Later, the Minister demonstrated how the results can be accessed. He also announced the password SUPPSSC@0617. Results can be accessed by logging on to www.bseap.org or www.manabadi.com or www.vidyavision.com or www.schools9.com on or before July 22.

For recounting, candidates need to remit ₹500 to the Head of Account in Government Treasury per subject within seven days from the date of the publication of results. Similarly, for re-verification, candidates have to submit the application along with a copy of the hall-ticket to the DEO office, paying an amount of ₹1,000 for a subject.
