Srinivasa Rao selected for Chaso Spurthi Puraskar

On the occasion of 100 birth anniversary celebrations of Chaso on January 17, Chaso Spurthi Sahitya Trust, founded by his daughter Chaganti Tulasi, will be presenting Chaso Spurthi Puraskar to Dr. Chintagundi Srinivasa Rao of Visakhapatnam at a function to be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hotel Mayura.

Dr. Srinivasa Rao is the 20 recipient of the award that was instituted by Dr. Tulasi on January 17, 1995.

She told a press conference on Sunday that writers and novelists Ramkumar Mukhopadyaya (Kolkata), Madhurantakam Narendra, Ms. Gowri Krubanandan (Tamil Nadu), Kalumandi Krishna Murty (Karnataka), L.R. Swamy (Visakhapatnam), Vasireddy Naveen, Dr. Rama Suri (Odisha) and others would speak on Chaso’s writings. on the occasion.

The award consists of Rs. 10,000 cash, citation, and shawl.
