Sri Krishna panel'svisit on July 22, 23

The Justice Sri Krishna Committee will visit the district on July 22 and 23, according to District Revenue Officer D. Venkata Reddy.

The committee, which has been constituted by the Central government to go into the demands of a separate Telangana or a unified Andhra Pradesh, will meet representatives of political parties, and groups and officials and elicit their opinion. The committee will visit Majjipeta in Bheemunipatnam mandal at 9.45 a.m. on Thursday and Pinagadi village in Pendurthi mandal at 8.30 a.m. on Friday.

Later at the Vaisakhi Jala Udyanavaram here, the committee will meet officials from 9.30 a.m. to 10 a.m.; representatives of political parties and associations from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. One or two representatives from an organisation will be allowed to meet the committee and given two minutes. Representations will be received.
