Some dozens of differently-abled youngsters had a lot of fun at the ABC stadium, MVP Colony on Saturday as they participated in a sports meet conducted for them.

Boys and girls from different schools for differently-abled flocked to the venue for the meet organised by the Physically Challenged People’s Association. At the end of the competitions they also exhibited their skills in dance and other cultural events.

Director of Physical Education of Andhra University M. Syam Babu and Dr. U. Lawrence of SVVPVMC Degree and PG College inaugurated the sports meet. Competitions were held in running, short put, javelin throw, chess, singing and other events. Dy.S.P. Railways S. Venkata Rao, president of Photographers Association Giri Gopal, Assistant Director (welfare of physically handicapped) G. Narasimhulu and representatives of MVP Young Stars Association and Rotary Club Vizag Hill View gave away the prizes. President of the host association G. Dhanaraju presided.
