Special trains for car festival

East Coast Railway (ECoR) will run special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers during the ensuing Rath Yatra (car festival) of Lord Jagannath at Puri.

Train No. 08907 Visakhapatnam-Puri special train will leave Visakhapatnam on June 24 at 1.20 p.m. to reach Puri the next day at 12.15 a.m. (June 24).

The train will have 10 general second class coaches and two second class sitting- cum-luggage coaches.

Train No. 08908 Puri-Visakhapatnam special train will leave Puri on June 26 at 12.30 a.m and will arrive in Visakhapatnam the same day at 10.55 a.m.

Train No 08907 Visakhapatnam-Puri will leave Visakhapatnam on July 2 at 1.20 p.m. and reach Puri the next day at 12.15 a.m.

The train will have 10 general second class and two second class sitting-cum-luggage coaches, according to Divisional Commercial Manager (Co) G. Suneel Kumar in a statement issued here on Tuesday.

Train No. 08908 Puri-Visakhapatnam will leave Puri on July 4 at 12.30 a.m. to arrive in Visakhapatnam the same day at 10.55 a.m.

Train No 08907 Visakhapatnam-Puri special train will leave Visakhapatnam on July 4 at 11.30 a.m. and will reach Puri the same day at 7 p.m. The train will have 16 general second class and two second class sitting-cum-luggage coaches.

Train No. 08908 Puri-Visakhapatnam special train will leave Puri on July 5 at 1a.m. and will reach Visakhapatnam the same day at 10.55 a.m.
