The services of train no.02853 Santragachhi-Ernakulam weekly premium express and train no. 02854 Ernakulam-Santragachhi weekly non-premium trains have been extended by four trips. Train no. 02853 Santragachhi (Howrah) – Ernakulam weekly premium special express will leave Santragachhi on March 7, 14, 21 and 28 (Saturdays) at 5.30 p.m. and arrive in Visakhapatnam on Sundays at 6.10 a.m. and leave at 6.30 a.m. to reach Ernakulam on Mondays at 6 a.m. In the return direction, train no. 02854 Ernakulam - Santragachhi weekly non-premium special super-fast express will leave Ernakulam on March 10, 17, 24 and 31 (Tuesdays) at 8.50 a.m. and arrive in Visakhapatnam on Wednesdays at 8.25 a.m. and leave at 8.45 a.m. to reach Santragachhi (Howrah) on the same day at 11 p.m., according to M. Yelvender Yadav, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division.
