Special train services extended to clear rush

The Railways has decided to extend the services of Visakhapatnam-Nanded-Visakhapatnam weekly special express train from July 9 to 31 and the services of Special Express (train No. 07147/07148) between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad to clear the extra rush of passengers.

Train No.08509 leaving Visakhapatnam at 7.30 p.m. on Tuesdays from July 9 to 30 will reach Nanded the following days at 2.35 p.m. (Wednesdays).

Train No. 08510 leaving Nanded at 4.15 p.m. on Wednesdays from July 10 to 31 will reach Visakhapatnam the following day at 10.15 a.m. (Thursdays).

En route, this pair of trains stops at Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudam, Eluru, Vijayawada, Kazipet, Secunderabad, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Basar, and Mudkhed. One AC 2-tier, one AC 3-tier, 10 sleeper class coaches, five general second class, onesecond class sitting-cum-luggage compartment, and one second class sitting–cum-physically challenged passenger coach will be in the composition, according to a statement issued by Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division Yelvender Yadav.

Train No. 07147 / 07148 between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad will run as per the following schedule:

Train no.07147 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Special Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 8 p.m. on Saturdays i.e., July 6, 13, 20, and 27and reach Secunderabad at 9.45 a.m. on Sundays. Train No. 07148 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special Express will leave Secunderabad at 9.30 p.m. on Fridays i.e., July 5,12,19, and 26and arrive at Visakhapatnam at 10.35 a.m. on Saturdays.

En route, this pair of trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundary, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalle, and Duvvada in both the directions.

These trains will consist of one I AC, three AC II-Tier and 10 AC III-tier coaches.
