Settle maximum cases at Lok Adalat, police urged

Metropolitan Session Judge S. Nagarjuna and Senior Civil Judge and DLSA secretary S. Damodara Rao on Tuesday called upon all police officers and station house officers in the 23 police station in the city limits to settle the maximum number of cases in the National Lok Adalat being held on September 9.

At a meeting held in the District Court Complex, both the judges urged the police officers to extend their cooperation in bringing more number of cases for settlement amicably. There must not be forcible settlement in any case, they said.

District Legal Services Authority panel lawyers Kuppili Muralidhar and R. Srinivas Rao participated in the meeting. Senior police officers A. Narasimha Murthy and Ramchandra Rao were present along with their colleagues.
