Services of Vijay Nirman lauded

Tracing his success to make VNC cross a turnover of Rs.1,000 crore, he said he was indebted to his father-in-law M.R. Rao who was also his mentor.

Speakers at the 30 anniversary of Vijay Nirman Company in the city have lauded the company brand for its virtues like quality, values, and character.

Addressing the gathering at NSTL Manasi auditorium on Friday, consultant of the company Managing Director of Aquarius A.S. Tyagarajan said VNC under the stewardship of its chairman S. Vijaya Kumar stood for high values and character to build a high reputation. “As investors, we wish all our investing companies are like VNC,” he remarked.

Directors of the company - former Principal Secretary in AP Government G. Kumaraswami Reddy, former Chief Commissioner of Income-Tax M. Narasimhappa, and former official of L and T S. Chandrasekhar – praised the VNC collective for achieving goals through healthy practices, and exuded confidence it would scale greater heights in the future.

Earlier, Dr. Vijaya Kumar, who welcomed the guests, said he was overwhelmed by the affection shown towards him by his friends and relatives. Tracing his success to make VNC cross a turnover of Rs.1,000 crore, he said he was indebted to his father-in-law M.R. Rao who was also his mentor.

About his son-in-law Ajay, he commented that at that age ‘Ajay was definitely better than Vijay’. VNC had taken up many activities under its corporate social responsibility to help the needy, he added.

Legendary vocalist and brand ambassador of VNC Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna, former Minister Bhattam Sriramamurthy, and many leaders of corporates, industrialists, builders, and businessmen attended the function.
