Service reservoir work to be expedited

Work on a service reservoir in Drivers' Colony in Division 60 at Gajuwaka should be completed by December 25 and water should be provided to them, Mayor Pulusu Janardhana Rao and Municipal Commissioner B. Ramanjaneyulu instructed officials on Friday.

Water being pumped from the Godavari was being treated at the plant at Sundarayya Colony and from there sent to four service reservoirs for supply to parts of Divisions 50, 60 and 64 at a cost of Rs.15 crore.

The Mayor and the Commissioner who made a visit along with MLA Ch. Venkatramaiah discussed the bottlenecks in the work.
