RINL General Manager (Iron) V. Karuppasamy on Saturday appreciated the gesture of Executive Collective of Visakapatnam Steel Plant for supporting the dependents of their departed colleagues.
Under the benevolent scheme being implemented by Steel Executives’ Association (SEA), Mr. Karuppasamy and DGM and head of sinter plant department N.N.G. Mastan Rao handed over cheque of Rs. 2.5 lakh to the nominees of deceased officer Patta Haragopal, Junior Manager, sinter plant department, in a meeting organised at SEA Bhawan.
Mr. Karuppasamy expressed that the scheme would be of great support to the family members of executives in unforeseen situations. Mr. Mastan Rao, a former president of SEA, appealed all the executives to take SEA membership.
SEA president K. Madhava Rao said welfare of the executives was their prime objective assured that all-out support to the needy family members of late officers.
Joint secretary K.S.S. Chandra Rao said the scheme was being implemented by SEA since three decades. The nominees expressed their gratitude for timely efforts of SEA in supporting them. SEA vice-president M.N.V.S. Prakash, and treasurer K.V.R. Reddy spoke.
