SBI to set up institute for self-employment training

State Bank of India is launching State Bank Self-Employment Training Institute (SBRSETI) on March 26 for imparting free training to the rural unemployed youth especially from BPL families.

The institute will be started with the cooperation from the Centre and the State Government. The institute will be operational at KVK-BCT, BCT farm complex, Haripuram in Rambilli mandal. It will offer fully residential free training by experienced faculty. Initially it will offer training in computer hardware, software, TV/DVD servicing and repair, mobile servicing, dress designing and hand and machine embroidery.

Unemployed rural youth of the district have to contact SBRSETI at Haripuram for details, according to V. Kameswara Rao, director of the institute.
