Save water, VSP staff told

By displaying banners and posters highlighting the importance of sustainable development of fresh water resources and advocating the need to adopt water conservation, employees of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant observed World Water Day on Saturday.

The Water Management of Department of VSP held a meeting on the occasion near Technical Training Institute. Employees and their families were asked to save water as VSP is facing water crisis. VSP employees participated in large numbers in the programme.

To focus attention of the world community on the importance of fresh water and to advocate sustainable management of fresh water resources, United Nations declared March 22 the World Water Day.
