The agitation in support of Samaikyandhra continued with political parties coming out with novel protests. There was some relief for citizens with autorickshaws plying on Sunday bringing normalcy to day-to-day life. Auto bandh on Friday and Saturday hit life hard almost bringing commuting to a halt.

TDP continued its protests with its urban unit president Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar hoisting a mega flag for Samaikyandhra on the beach. At the relay fast camp at GVMC, TDP West Assembly constituency leader and former MLA P.V.G.R. Naidu and his followers participated.

Mr. Naidu and Mr. Ganesh Kumar participated in a “tug-of-war” charging UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi with hurling people of the State into a divided lot fighting with each other.

Telugu Yuvata activists from the constituency walked on hands protesting against the decision to bifurcate the State.

Congress cadres led by City Congress president Behara Bhaskara Rao and City Mahila Congress president Pedada Ramani Kumari led the protest at the relay fast camp being organised by the Congress at the GVMC.
