Artists from all over the country displayed their creative skills at an Art Camp organised by the APTDC on the Andhra University Department of Fine Arts campus to provide an interactive platform to the budding artists from several universities. The show displayed some stunning sculptures and paintings. The Hindu photographer C.V. Subrahmanyam captured some fleeting moments.
Discovered in 1906 by Alexander Rim, Buddhist site Bojjannakonda near Anakapalle in Visakhapatnam District of Andhra Pradesh, is a rich treasure trove of our cultural and religious heritage. Very little has, however, been done to popularize it as a tourist destination, to preserve symbol of our history or make it a study tour destination for the lakhs of school children in the region.
