Sai Vidya Vihar students take out peace rally

May 06, 2014 09:29 pm | Updated 09:30 pm IST - VISAKHAPATNAM:

The death anniversary of Eswaramma, mother of Sri Sathya Saibaba, was observed by members of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation and students of Balavikas here on Tuesday.

Since it was Eswaramma who had inspired her son to serve the needy by providing free education, water, and medical help, the students and devotees observed the occasion by performing special ‘puja’, cultural programmes, and planting saplings.

A peace rally highlighting human values from MVP double road to Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar was also taken out as part of the event.

Among others, 250 students, along with their parents and teachers, participated in the programme.
