Personnel Officer of APSRTC, Visakhapatnam, S. Muralimohan Rao was caught on Tuesday by Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) while he was allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of ₹ 5000 for doing an official favour to the complainant.

According to the DSP of ACB (Visakha-urban) Kinjarapu Ramakrishna Prasad, the tainted officer demanded the bribe from the complainant for forwarding two hired car bills for March, April and May. The complainant supplies cabs to APSRTC, said Mr. Ramakrishna Prasad. The PO was arrested and sent to remand on Tuesday.
