Telugu hero Aadi’s sixth film ‘Rough’ is being released at over 400 theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Friday. “This is for the first time that Aadi will show off his six-pack body for the first time on screen.

This is an action love story and will have mass dialogues. A complete commercial film with a make-believe character, I hope that it will turn out to be a big hit,” popular actor and Aadi’s father Sai Kumar told the media here on Thursday.

Senthil Kumar, who was the cameraman for the mega hit films ‘Magadheera’ and ‘Eega’, has done 60 per cent of the work for ‘Rough’. It is directed by Ch. Subba Reddy and produced by Abhilash. A fight sequence has been shot at the RK Beach. “It’s hard to believe that the popular hero Srihari, who played the role of the heroine Rakul Preeth Singh’s brother in this film, is no more,” Sai Kumar said in a voice choked with emotion as he recalled his association with Srihari.

“Srihari had completed 90 per cent of his role before he passed away. Songs by Mani Sarma are rocking,” said Sai Kumar, who plans to watch the morning show at a theatre in his native Vizianagaram.

The distributors of the film were present at the media conference.

Memu Saitham: “I gave the voiceover on TV for the programme, which is in aid of Hudhud victims of north Andhra districts. Aadi is also playing in the cricket match being organised as part of the event and now I have also got a call to play in it,” he said in reply to a query and added that they had also collected Rs.5 lakh from the gated community in Hyderabad, where they were staying, for donation towards cyclone relief.
