Textile retail chain Kankatala of Visakhapatnam opened its sixth showroom at Gajuwaka on Wednesday. Tamil Nadu Governor Konijeti Rosaiah inaugurated the showroom. Andhra Pradesh HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao lit the traditional lamp.

Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivas and Visakhapatnam West MLA Gana Babu, Nalli Group Chairman Nalli Kuppusami Chetty, MD of CMR Group Mavuri Venkata Ramana, former MLA Thippala Gurumurthy Reddy, and Chairman of Pydah Group of Educational Institutions Pydah Krishna Prasad participated in the inauguration. Kankatala’s Chairman and Managing Director Kankatala Mallikarjuna Rao expressed happiness at the 70-year-old chain opening its latest, multi-storied showroom at Gajuwaka.
