The Endowments Department is making elaborate arrangements for Sobha Yatra for the Godavari Pushkarams beginning July 14.
Devotees intending to participate in it may enrol their names at Mee Seva centres, nearest well-known temple, tahsildar office or the Endowments Department office by July 5.

Members of the yatra from the district will leave from Simhachalam Devasthanam at 9 a.m. on July 12 and reach Dwaraka Tirumala by evening. They will commence padayatra on July 13 morning and reach Rajahmundry via Nallajarla, Devarapalli, and Kovvuru, covering a distance of 65 km.
They will take a holy dip in the Godavari on July 16.
Water from the Godavari would be brought to the district headquarters and immersed in drums of water to be kept ready there.
This water would again immersed in various tanks and wells in villages and mandals.
