Pune team CEO meets police chief

Rising Pune Supergiants Chief Executive Officer Raghu Iyer met Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam, Amit Garg on Tuesday seeking cooperation for the proposed IPL matches at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA stadium, in May.

Post the shortage of water issue in Mumbai and the court ordering the shifting of matches from Mumbai, the Rising Pune Supergiants have been looking out for alternative venues and have zeroed in on Visakhapatnam.

The IPL franchisee officials met the Police Commissioner along with the ACA officials.

According to Mr. Garg, three matches are likely to be played in Visakhapatnam, and the police have assured of providing all support.
