Premium train services extended

The services of the Premium super-fast special express trains between Santragachhi-Ernakulam via Visakhapatnam and the AC Premium super-fast express train between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad have been extended.

The details of the special trains that are passing Visakhapatnam Railway station are: Train no. 02853 Santragachhi (Howrah) – Ernakulam weekly Premium special express will leave Santragachhi at 5.30 p.m. on Saturdays and reach Visakhapatnam on Sundays at 6.10 a.m. and leave at 6.30 a.m. to reach Ernakulam on Mondays at 6 a.m. (from Jan 3 to 31).

In the return direction, train no. 02854 Ernakulam- Santragachhi weekly Premium special express will leave Ernakulam on Tuesdays at 8.50 a.m. and arrive in Visakhapatnam on Wednesdays at 8.25 a.m. and leave at 8.45 a.m. to reach Santragachhi (Howrah) on the same day at 11 p.m. (from January 6 to February 3).

These pair of trains will also stop at Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam over East Coast Railway. The train will have four 3 AC coaches, 10 Sleeper class coaches, two second class luggage-cum-sitting coaches and a Pantry car.

Train no. 02204 Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam Premium AC Super-fast express train will leave Secunderabad on January 9 (Friday) at 11 p.m. and arrive in Visakhapatnam on the next day at 9.45 a.m., according to M. Yelvender Yadav, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division.

In return direction, train no.02203 Visakhapatnam- Secunderabad Premium AC super-fast express train will leave Visakhapatnam on January 10 (Saturday) at 9.10 p.m. and reach Secunderabad on the next day at 7 a.m.

The pair of trains also stop at Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Samalkot and Anakapalle between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam. The train runs with three 2 AC and 11 3 AC coaches in its composition.
