There will be no power supply in the following areas from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday due to maintenance work to be carried out at Auto Nagar substation: Auto Nagar D-Block (Black Gold Road, Navata Transport Road, NCL Road), Setvis Road – Auto Nagar D-Block extension, Kunchamamba Colony, H.P.Gas godown area, Sahuwala Cylinders area, IALA Building area, Eenadu area, Visweswarayanagar, Sriramnagar, Tokada Village and Thokada Industrial area, B-Block Auto Nagar, SF Quarters, Canara Bank area and Gajuwaka Registrar office area.
Gita Samithi training
A training camp will be organised for children between eight and 16 years of age at Sri Gita Prachara Samithi at Rajapu Naidu Street for 10 days from May 1. Those intending to participate should register by April 28 by paying Rs.200.
Reopen swimming pool
Representatives of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) demanded that the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation’s swimming pool at Aqua Complex on the Beach Road be repaired, maintenance works be carried out and it be open to the public with immediate effect.
