With the theme ‘How can you make a difference to protect the earth’, ESSAR Foundation, CSR arm of ESSAR Group, along with The Hindu is organising a poster design contest on April 22. The competition that aims at encouraging the young minds to be environmentally conscious will be held for junior (classes V to VII) and senior (classes VIII to X) categories. Top three winners in each category will be walking away with prizes. Certificates will be given to all the participants.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the ESSAR Group has been conducting the contest, scheduled to be held between 9 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. at Andhra University Central Canteen conference hall. Participants are expected to report at the venue by 8 a.m. on Wednesday. Participants are expected to bring required material except drawing sheets. Commissioner of Police Amit Garg will be chief guest.
