Police hold Open House for students

The Visakhapatnam Rural police on Wednesday organised an ‘Open House’ for students of Minerva schools from China Mushidivada, Simhachalam and Gopalapatnam and BVK School, Visalakshinagar.

Superintendent of Police Rahul Dev Sharma himself demonstrated the use of arms.

Detection and defusing of bombs, the locked house monitoring system (LHMS) and continual watch through drone during VIP visits was also demonstrated. The working of CLUES for investigation of crime team was explained.

The SP said how the drone cameras were quite useful in destroying ganja crop in the Agency area of the district.

Explaining the importance of safety, Mr. Sharma told the children to make their parents wear helmets and seat-belt.

Additional SP G. Srikant, DSPs N.S.S. Sekhar and R. Srinivas, Reserve Inspectors G. Gowriswara Rao and P. Nageswara Rao and Inspector, CLUES team, Sri Nagesh participated.
