Police appeal to Seemandhra protesters

The city police and district police have appealed to those holding demonstrations against bifurcation of the State, to conduct their protests in a peaceful manner and cooperate with the police in the maintenance of law and order. They warned that cases would be booked against those indulging in destruction of public and private property and statues of national leaders.

They also cautioned that some anti-social elements were joining the movements and they indulged in destruction, the JAC representatives and other spearheading the protests would also be booked and legal action initiated.
