Photo expo focuses on eco degradation

Green Youth Brigade organised a photo exhibition at Ramakrishna Beach on the eve of World Environment Day.

The exhibition, held with the assistance of AP Pollution Control Board, highlighted the incidence of drought, flood and other extreme weather conditions owing to global warming and environmental degradation.

Former Union Energy Secretary E.A.S. Sarma, APPCB Superintendent Engineer Srirama Murthy and professor of Environmental Sciences, Andhra University, E.U.B. Reddy were among those who visited the exhibition.

The exhibition will be organised again at Ramakrishna Beach on Wednesday morning followed by Green Walk, in association with APPCB, up to Alluri Sitarama Raju statue.

Rathod of Trendsetters, Madhu of Young India, Prajna, Sweta and Kuldip Kaur of the Environmental Sciences department participated.
