‘PF at your doorstep’ organised

‘PF at your doorstep’ or ‘PF aapke dwaar’, an initiative by EPFO to reach out to its subscribers, was held at Pydibhimavaram, Srikakulam, on Tuesday. The camp was organised in collaboration with Aurobindo Pharma and was widely attended by workers and employers in the industrial area. Presiding over the camp, D. Madhavi, assistant P.F. Commissioner, said that the initiative was to ensure doorstep delivery of its various services to the millions of its subscribers.

The primary focus of the camp was on familiarizing the PF subscribers with the Universal Account Number (UAN) and the various benefits that are made available to the subscribers through the medium of UAN. Practical demonstration was also held during the course of the camps on how to activate UAN by the PF members through EPFO’s websitewww.epfindia.comandwww.epfindia.gov.in.

During the camp, various other initiatives of EPFO aimed at providing better services through employers and employees were also explained by team of officers from the PF office. There was an interactive session wherein the PF subscribers sought clarifications regarding the various benefits of the schemes administered by the organisation and also by the various e-enabled services launched in the recent past.

Establishments such as Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Andhra Organics, Saraca Laboratories, Lantech Pharma participated in the camp.
