People throng Jagan’s road show

YSR Congress party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy started his road show on Tuesday from Bobbili. Meandering his way through milling crowds on Bobbili-Paradi-Mettavalasa-Ramabhadrapuram- Salur Road, Mr. Jagan waved to greeting crowds, interacted with women and heard their problems, which include non-payment of pension, employment etc.

He assured them of action shortly. At Rompilli village, an old woman complained about non-payment of pension and handed him a representation. People gathered in good number as his convoy passed the villages. All along the route, the crowd tried their best to shake hands with the YSRCP president.

A group of students near Salur said that fee reimbursement introduced by late YSR helped them study further. The succeeding Chief ministers diluted the fee reimbursement scheme they alleged and said they pinned hopes on Mr. Jagan for extending the scheme to all the eligible.

Though the response to his road show in Vizianagaram, Nellimarla and Cheepurupalli was moderate, it was comparatively good in Bobbili and Salur constituencies which former MLAs Sujaya Krishna Ranga Rao (Bobbili) and Peedika Rajanna Dora (Salur), who quit the Congress and joined YSRCP are representing. Along with them, Mr. Sujay Krishna’s brother and an aspirant for Vizianagaram Lok Sabha constituency Baby Nayana accompanied Mr. Jagan.
